32. Sol y Sombra at Luna Park (2004)

A sunny day at Luna Park (luna, moon in Spanish) yet, with a bright sun as its entrance. This piece represents Melbourne, through light and shadow. I have lived in Melbourne since August, 2004 and in St Kilda since 2017, I love my neighbourhood, I love my city, it has been a true roller-coaster. I wish some of the recent urban interventions had been better executed, such as the partial closure of Acland Street which ended-up being such a waste of space, effort and resources!
