38. Delft, visiting Vermeer (2010)

In 2010 while in Holanda I was introduced to a number of well established and emerging architectural practices by my Dutch-Canadian friend John Heintz. Extract from my diary:
“Delft cathedral bells have been ringing for nearly and hour. My room window opens to Markt square and adjacent buildings in between the cathedral and the town-hall. It is all like a folly. It is a white Christmas indeed, a bite of a fairy tale vibe. Also, in the hood one can visit Johannes Vermeer's home-studio and get to see many of the buildings he painted a few moons ago. Delft is timeless and truly inspirational"  (2. December.2010).
