39. Hoi An and Ha Long Bay, Vietnam (2011)

Hoi An “…I have spent time in Hoi An designing and building a primary school for kids with learning difficulties. Teaching with an approach to a real-life-project or scenario is great and very gratifying. I have also made great friends with locals and academics involved in this project. While in Hoi An and in Vietnam I visited many natural and man-made wonders such as Sa Pa’s rice fields, Hanoi, Ha Long Bay water and cave wonders, climbing Marble Mountain and exploring the bucolic spaces of My Son archaeological site. Each truly unique, beautiful and meaningful.

Millania towns and structures, no wonder why Vietnamese people take so much pride in their history and heritage. Above all, Vietnam holds great lessons on human nature and the human condition to diversity, survival, development... they will find prosperity too, they are relentless entrepreneurs with a yes can be done attitude (yes we can, not yes I can)".
