44. Barcelona, Gaudi meets Mies (2016)

Barcelona became my home away from home when I first left Mexico in 1996. I place this painting in 2016 commemorating twenty years since my first arrival. My last visit was in 2019 with my partner and 6-moth son who I introduced to my "Catalan" host family. I much hope to be able to return to BCN in the near future.

From the architecture of Antonio Gaudí to Mies Van Der Rohe Barcelona is a captivating city for architects, creatives, urban designers and the likes.
