48. Herbert Street, my new world (2020)

The St Kilda Botanical gardens are certainly a small sanctuary for greenery and well being. They became our micro-cosmos even before lock-down days. At the end of 2018 my son was born and this beautiful setting was the backdrop to much of the sleep-walking I did pushing a pram. It was not all sleep deprivation but also moments of joy, happiness in the quiet company of my friend with the perpetual umbrella.
